Walking The Pennine Way

For most people, The Pennine Way is a bucket-list experience that requires physical dedication, but is worth every minute of training! We get several requests a year from clients looking to walk the full length, but we've also provided several shorter itineraries below which allow you to get a taste of this wild and windy landscape. Take your pick from our popular itineraries below, or ask us to create a bespoke trip for you, with rest days, preferred daily distances, dog-friendly breaks, and anything else you want or need.

Please note: the Pennine Way is quite a remote trail and accommodation is limited, so we ask that client's provide a three-day window for their start date to ensure that the trip can be booked.

The Pennine Way - Britain's oldest National Trail

Paving the way for public access to some of England's wildest landscapes, The Pennine Way stretches 268 miles through the Peak District to the Scottish Borders. It was the first UK trail to gain National Trail designation and is considered the most challenging long-distance walk of all the UK's National Trail. It is however also one of its most beautiful, with unrivalled, unspoiled landscape at every turn.
